I am looking for some like Jigsaw used to do before their stuff wnet all weird. Silky things which don't look too fluffy or officey (but would do under a suit), don't have v high necklines, are just nice shapes and colours. Does anyone know what I mean? Or where to look? Before I give in to blouse despair...

M&S occasionally have OK blouses - I quite like this although not sure about the bow.

Will be keeping an eager eye out though to see if anyone comes up with any suggestions, have likewise been giving into blouse despair! All they ever seem to recommend for blouses in newspapers etc is Chloe which is sadly waaaay out of budget for me

La Redoute

Steamedtreaclke, have also had very occasional success with M + S but can't be doing with bows. The Whistles ones have a lot going on and Topshop are going for that shiney, ruffly sexy secretary vibe a bit. Gah, this sounds like ingratitude; it's not, really. Urban Outfitters maybe some possibilities - what is the quality like? Someome should do thsoe old Jigsaw ones - very simple shape short sleeves, lovely collar, heavy silk, incredibly flattering and not old-ladyish...
[maybe just sadly stuck in ways emoticon]

woodenspoon2 · 31/03/2009 15:40

hmmm, kind of, Devil and it's good of you to dig it out. But something more fitted to body more what thinking and not sure like slash neck.

woodenspoon2 · 31/03/2009 23:31

Upper Street is the road to perdition! Quite liking that Great Plains one... Must slough off thsi name as I have spotted the original woodenspoon about and re-don one of my old names. Maybe I need a new shiny name....
