Nice cardigans for a larger lady...??

Following on from the other thread about cardigans i thought i would ask for your expert advice!

I have a few cardigans, mainly black (most with holes under the arms now) One beige, waist length, one longer length black one with rolled up sleeves with a button, that sort of thing!!

I am looking for lovely cardigans that won't make me look too fat, i am a size 14 sometimes 16 because of my massive boobs, 36dd.

Anyone got any ideas?? Not old lady ones though please...............not as though mnetters would even suggest old lady ones......

size 14-16 isn't fat

Are you tall or small?

Apple shaped to go with the norks?

ssd · 31/03/2009 09:27

you think 36DD is massive???

bloody hell

blossomsmine · 31/03/2009 10:20

Sorry, didn't want to offend anyone

I do look big, i really do. I am short, 5ft 2 if i am lucky, actually if honest more 5ft 1. Also i think i need a bigger bra, just tried on a 38dd i bought at the weekend and it is much more comfortable but have a feeling i could go bigger as getting a slight extra boob effect!!

And yes, Ronaldinhio, i am a goddamn apple I never wanted to end up a short, apple but it has happened

Advice ladies, please!!!

this idea with a white v neck t-shirt underneat and some wide leg trousers?

Ronaldinhio · 31/03/2009 10:33

dodgy short sleeves?
love this will elongate body

blossomsmine · 31/03/2009 10:44

You know, Ronaldinhio, you are picking all the ones that i love but thought i couldn't wear! I was worried that my stomach will look awful through the gap down from the button and also that it might emphasise my norks!!!

I do tend to get stuck in a rut and be abit scared of trying things though, so maybe i should give them a go. I love them all actually

I bought a short sleeved jumper (kind of like the cardis) early this year from Primark, it was cheap thats why i got it from there as i was scared it would look awful and didn't want to waste the money! Anyway, i think it was abit to bulky for me, had quite a high cowl neck and was bright green, i only wore it at night on the sofa when really cold!!

I think because i am bigger than i used to be i tend to want to fade into the background abit Although, when i see other bigger ladies with gorgeous things on i think they look lovely
