I need a pale pink dress

for a wedding (I'm matron of honour!) but as it has to go with the little bridesmaids dresses (pink and blue butterflies on white background, very cute), it has to be pale pink I hate pale pink... It also needs to be cotton, not satin/evening style.
I've looked everywhere and am becoming quite panicky, as I can't find anything to fit the bill, let alone make me look OK.

Please help!

Shopstyle is good, if you haven't tried it yet. Do a search for pink dresses and it'll show you everything available on the high street - you can then click on the link to the actual shop.

No idea what size youare

Disenchanted3 · 30/03/2009 19:59

this isn't cotton but might do esp if you are after a fairy on the tree look!

bran · 30/03/2009 20:03

If you get desperate you could have it made for you from somewhere like Style Shake.

Ewe · 30/03/2009 20:07

Could this work?

NorktasticNinja · 30/03/2009 20:11

BlueCow - Now that's a challenging one! You really need to give us some clue of your size, shape and good and bad features. 'tis impossible otherwise!

Oh, and is there absolutely no way you can negotiate your way into blue? Really really not at all?

Ewe · 30/03/2009 20:13

Too pink?

BlueCowWondersWhenItsChocTime · 30/03/2009 20:17

countessD - I think I might just go for the fairy look. (Never done it before, esp for my own wedding, but there's always a first time!)

Hadn't thought of coast, but had tried M&S, Debenhams, Littlewoods, Next, Monsoon, Bhs, Phase8 and loads of old lady styles too...

(Bran, I only have a few weeks, but good idea)

from Debenhams-not pink but a beautiful shade of blue

Pink dress- Debenhams again

Not sure if either of them are cotton though!

BlueCowWondersWhenItsChocTime · 30/03/2009 20:21

Good thought Norktastic, but I've already tried and failed on blue, unfortunately Don't suit 'baby' colours at all, so I'd go for rose/ deeper shades, but the bride says no...

Ewe, love it, but bride wants paler...

Slight pattern?

Amandoh · 30/03/2009 20:25

What's the budget? This is beautiful!

This TopShop dress is pretty too.

Really lovely one at Caractere.

How are your legs? Shorter style.

Ewe · 30/03/2009 20:37

I really like the Patrizia Pepe one.

BonsoirAnna · 30/03/2009 20:40

Agree that the Patrizia Pepe one is good - PP is generally quite glam.

springdaffs · 30/03/2009 20:49

what about vintage - 1950s/1960s

BlueCowWondersWhenItsChocTime · 30/03/2009 22:27

blimey, dh would have a fit if I spent £600! I'm far too 'sensible' for that!
love the polka dot one, but not for the wedding
The caractere is lovely, but I can't see a price?
