We are going abroad on holiday for the 1st time since we got married. I am determined that this year I am going to wear a bikini (if my post 3rd baby sit ups work )

Where can I buy a nice (not boring, or mumsy)
bikini which will fit properly
I ideally need to buy separates as my top half is 32G and my bottom is a 12 and am quite tall.
I don't want to spend a fortune either!
(prob £50 max)
TIA

Have you tried Bravissimo?

mabel1973 · 26/03/2009 16:46

that was the 1st place that sprung to mind, my mum bought one from there last year,
i have looked in their catalogue but not seen anything i liked much.

right
you need bravissimo( not so god)
figleaves or John lewis
IMo the best are panache - you cna also buy BNWT on ebay for half the price

the trick is to try on ONLY the tops - that is the hardest thing.
Take a mate with you as YOU will look down asn see stomach and moan and she will say "No that is fine you are obsessing.#
IMO its a false economy to get a cheap one or a Marks one.

www.figleaves.com

Good site, fuller figure section, buy top and bottom separately.

Just a suggestion hope you have a lovely holiday.

Thanks had forgotten figleaves did swimwear. Will have a look.
I am currently selling loads of stuff on ebay to fund my nice bikini.
I have a draw full of cheap ill fittng ones, and after my last pregnancy my norks have practically got their own postcode...so need all the help they can get!

Yes, there's comes a time when it's all about structured cups...

Halternecks are always my favourite - hoik everything up and tie it tight

mabel1973 · 26/03/2009 17:40

yes - think the over shoulder boulder holder is best option!

Lepel do really good seperates, I'm a 32f and find that they are a perfect fit and give good scaffolding support. They also do lovely coordinating kaftans. I have this one www.simplybeach.com/ProductDetails.aspx?StockID=41032
