I need to look fabulous but will me on my feet most of the day so need comfort too! Any colour/style as dress is black.

Although, IME, different shoes are comfortable for different people.

what sort of foot shape do you have? ie, are they broad and stubby? or slim and long? high arch, or nearly flat footed? different makes suit different feet.

ime, the most comfy heels, tend to be more expensive. in the seventy plus pounds bracket. i have very broad feet that are a 37 or 38 depending on the style and make. places like faith have very trendy shoess, but i find that they are not particularly comfortable. my current faves are kg by kurt geiger, and i have two pairs of killer heels. one of which i will happily go shopping in.
so, best thing is to decide how much you are willing to spend, what style youwant, and then just go try on lots and lots of shoes.
