this one's nice you could wear with leggings or jeans?

JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 18:43

So what's your colouring? Hair colour? Skin tone? Do you wear bright colours?

JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 18:45

prints are in

JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 18:46

I like this one

hereidrawtheline · 20/03/2009 18:47

Oh wow thats nice and totally unlike anything else I have!

I am tall. And fair skin. And really dark red brown hair. And green eyes. Big boobs, hips, waist is acceptable though not what it was pre-DS, but then nothing is!

I wear a lot of grey. I love grey! But I dont want everything grey. I do not like bright colours at all. I like deep colours, like dark blue & some greens & pinks & gold. But not brash colours IYSWIM.

Thanks for taking pity on me.

nice too depending on your colouring?

hereidrawtheline · 20/03/2009 18:49

must say I dont really like the print one. But I like the second one & the first one!

Blimey you sound gorgeous I bet you could get away with bright colours but if you don't feel comfortable in them?

Green is lovely on your colouring no wonder you like it.

JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 18:56

I love the long one think you should go for it I wish it was in my size it's lovely. Very flattering.

hereidrawtheline · 20/03/2009 18:56

LOL that is very kind of you! I (think) I was lovely to look at at one point! I remember from days gone by! But I have put on so much weight I feel really dumpy. But I am really trying to turn it around. I feel so insecure in a lot of clothes. But to be fair that isnt just since I gained weight I have always really limited myself wrt colour etc. I only wore black & grey for years! So any colour at all is fantastic for me! And I never ever would have worn anything flowery. I was very... trying to think... streamlined. Which is I guess where I am happiest? I feel nervous if my clothes are too flowery.

The first one would suit your colouring too and you could wear a coloured necklace to add a bit of colour or a scarf?

hereidrawtheline · 20/03/2009 18:58

Thank you! going to break for dinner! this is so exhausting

OP posts:
JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 18:59

You do need to wear something that accentuates your waist though, don't be scared of showing off your boobs. Too square and it's unflattering.

I bet others see you differently to how you see yourself but in the end you have to feel good inside. I've put weight on since the kids and am just trying to walk more now and cylce. Plus am eating healthier, more pulses and veg.

JumpingDizzy · 20/03/2009 19:00

bye for now. I'm going too as a friend is coming round. Size 8 but only 5 foot so not like us She has your colouring though.

MadameCastafiore · 20/03/2009 19:02

You would need super toned arms for that dress.

this one is nice

or this one

Wigglesworth · 20/03/2009 19:19

Not with leggings, a nice pair if wedge heel sandals maybe?

hatwoman · 20/03/2009 19:24

I'm with mamas12 - worn with the right accessories (including leggings) and the right bearing it could look really good. but I also think that if you got it wrong it could look vicar's wife, like someone said. it's one of those funny dresses that could go either way.

hatwoman · 20/03/2009 19:27

I really like taht assymetric one. she's got the wrong colopur leggings on imo but the top/dress/tunic whatever it's called is lovely.

hereidrawtheline · 20/03/2009 19:37

thanks very much JumpingDizzy and you are so right I can not do square!! It makes me look all wrong!

I really like the next ones Madame!

I did just buy this which is clearly a safe bet for me as its grey but I liked it!
