Love the dress, but need something over it, especially for the ceremony.

Shrug or a wrap? (almost see through kind, thinking dark purple or black?)

I can go shopping tomorrow if necessary. Excuse the hair its been up in a bun all day, it will be straightened on the day.

I like the shrug

AnyFucker · 19/03/2009 22:54

the shrug looks good

and wow you have fabulous tits

nancy75 · 19/03/2009 22:55

i hate wraps, i just cant do them they fall off and you faff with them all day, the shrug is much better but maybe have a look for one that covers your boobs a bit more for during the day and then take it off in the evening? was in m&s today and they had quite a few little shrugs that could be ok.
the dress itself looks really nice.

MintChocAddict · 19/03/2009 22:56

Go with the shrug I reckon. Hope you have a lovely day on Saturday.

brimfull · 19/03/2009 23:07

Tbh I think i dressy cropped little cardi would look better.
By dressy I mean not too chunky.

shrug looks good

great dress! I personally prefer the wrap but that's because all those little shrugs remind me of my ballet cardi. But if you are going to get a wrap, get a big one, so that you can use it almost like a pashmina if necessary.

JohnnyTwoHats · 19/03/2009 23:18

Is it in a church? because you'll need shoulders covering IMO if it is.

Amandoh · 20/03/2009 00:31

Agree with the majority and prefer the shrug. You're constantly pulling wraps up and down and it gets tiresome quickly.

Really like the little cardie ggirl linked too. I think I'll buy one in navy to wear over vest tops.

giraffescantdancethetango · 20/03/2009 08:06

Thanks all. Its not in a church its in a hotel.

I'd go for a cardi, but a lacey one so you don't get a 'solid' look to distract from the lovely dress.

giraffescantdancethetango · 20/03/2009 08:48

I have a lacy one but was worried it was too different to the dress, as there is a lot of detail in it. (There is a close up of it further down my pics)

I am off to my grans now for morning tea and cake, she always tries to feed me like I am starving so I will probably come back 3 stone heavier and not able to fit in the dress

oh and at boobie comments, I always used to have no boobs, infact when I went out I used to pad my bra, so am quite chuffed

I agree with the cardi choice - wraps are awkard and mumsy and you're only 24!

That one looks fine, but as someone said, a lacy one might look more dressy, maybe even a long-line one.

But don't hide your boobs!
