Combats - What do I wear on my feet?

Girl at New Look here, got lots of bargains in there today I've bought 3 pairs of combat type trousers but what do I wear on my feet? I've got a pair of sandy coloured trainers but can anyone recommend anything else?

army surplus boots ?

flip flops w/painted toenails. wedge heels. chunky boots.

Agree with Satine on the Converse sneakers. Was in a shoe store on Oxford Street in London last week, where I was the oldest person by about 15 years! All the young trendies were trying on the Converse high top sneakers in various colours, so maybe that's the new look? Think it would work well with combat trousers....but, what do I know?

Timberlands.

Flipflops, birkenstock type thingys, ballet flats, trainers. I don't like converse ones but I think they look nice with the Puma type trainers kwim?

Skater-type Adidas trainers, or converse "fat" trainers, Dr Martins.
