Linen trousers for the summer............please discuss.

I love linen trousers for the summer and as a TA at school I think it will be my main uniform.

Now, I usually buy NEXT linen trews but the quality is a bit crap and they always get worn at the crotch bit.

So my question is, if you spend more on linen trews do they last longer?

Am thinking of getting a navy pair and a brown pair and accessorizing.

M&S?
Monsoon?
Tesco?

Where do you get yours from?

LOL - I love linen trousers (and mine don't wear through) but I wouldn't do white if you PAID me!!

I am a catholic so maybe I could no it but I would have to pull them so they were too tight around my nethers and hurt every time I walked. That way I could deal with the guilt.

And unfettered minge in too-tight linen trousers might not be such a good look...

I couldn't do knickerless either - the answer here is sloggi seamless shorts in flesh-colour - very comfy and no vpl.

I am talking loose linen not fitted calvin klein seamless flesh underwear is the only thing for summer clothes TK MAxx its really cheap

I'm in the knickerless camp (most of the month!) - cooler, more comfortable and definitely no VPL - but each to their own

I just bought some white linen keks from Miss Selfridge, they are similar to the River Island ones which I usually buy a pair of every couple of years, but a bit thicker

I tend to wear beige with white, not nay as I'm not keen on that false "nautical" look

I have some good black ones from White Stuff, which last really well. Bought a pair in Gap last year, and they were rubbish, felt apart v quickly. Also have a pair from Monsoon which I bought in the sale which are fab.

Well perhaps I will experiment with knickerless myself if it is so popular, honestly I thought people only did this if they had no knickers available to wear due to an accident/ bad planning
