Would I get away with wearing this dress to a wedding?

here's the dress

Bearing in mind, according to the bride-to-be the wedding will be 'in a field', and I'll have 3 dd's in tow.
I like the dress, and look good in navy , already have shoes which I think would match too. It would also go beautifully with DD2 and DD3's dresses..
AND it's cheap

Down-side is, I usually go a bit more dressy for weddings then never wear the dress again because it's too dressy

Right I've ordered it as well! (sheep emoticon)

I would be a sheep but for the fact I havent been shorn recently and am too fluffy.

I would love wedges. I have problems with shoes. That's a whole other thread.

why is it the only thing in the sale?

and why is it not in my size?

Tis lovely.

Sazisi · 19/03/2009 19:18

I know GossipMonger, it's a paltry sale!

Cornsilk, my little partner in crime, what shoes shall you wear with yours?

That is such a fab dress. You can dress it up or dress it down.

MadameCastafiore · 19/03/2009 19:39

Nearly bought this today but got things for the DCs instead.

It is lovely - quite thick though - and you could wear it with flats for the school run - it really isn;t that dressy - well not if you dress it down IYKWIM.

missblythe · 19/03/2009 20:07

Did you see it in store Madame?

Have got Monsoon vouchers burning a hole in my bag-might pop into town in the morning while DD is at nursery.

cornsilk · 19/03/2009 20:28

I am going to wear some tres chic black gant wedges I bought from Amazon for a bargainous £10. (smug!) Actually that would be nice with silver wedges as well....Must stop spending money!!

MadameCastafiore · 20/03/2009 11:08

Yep they have loads of them in the Monsoon in Colchester.

I would ring your local store and ask them to put one by in your size.
