Is it one word or two though?

desperatehousewife · 19/04/2005 12:11

my gran always wore one.
Did they have lycra or was it all elastic engineering.
We have bridget jones big knickers these days don't we.

Beansmum · 19/04/2005 12:17

what is a panty girdle?

feelingold · 19/04/2005 13:32

My mum who is 72 still wears a panty girdle and my daughter who is 9 thinks it is very hilarious.
When my daughter was smaller she asked why it took nanna so long to go to the toilet and my dad replied ' well it takes her ages to pull her saddle (meaning her girdle) up', so in our house that's what it's called much to my mums disgust.

Ooooh, now isn't \linkwww.sleeknchic.com/jpegs8/624-panty-girdle-perma-lift.jpg\this} an attractive item!

SoupDragon · 19/04/2005 15:56

Or even this

SoupDragon · 19/04/2005 15:56

Panty hose is another silly phrase.

DillyDally · 19/04/2005 15:56

desperatehousewife · 19/04/2005 15:59
