What are they for? They are both so different

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 18/03/2009 19:18

Both nice dresses but I'd go for the second one tbh (probably because I'm a size 14-16 and I think the pattern and cut on the first wouldn't be flattering on me).

Galava · 18/03/2009 19:18

Depends on what the occasion is...

They are both very nice, first one a bit more everyday.

The second for something a bit more glam salthough not sure on the colour as it wouldnt suit me at all.

Just had a wander through Monsoon and saw both which I really liked.

I was either looking for a dress that I can wear at work but also at weekends etc, just a nice dress.

But I am also off out on a big night, plus need something nice for upcoming parties, the inlaws a having a combined 50th anniversary, 50th birthday, 25 wedding anniversary, 70th birthday and 21st birthday in the summer with all the family there

Have to say, have tried neither on, so could look like a pig in a frock in them both

If it's for work as well as socialising, then the first. Otherwise I prefer the second.

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 18/03/2009 19:26

You need both

First one for day occasions then downgraded to work after

the second dress for fancy - too fancy for work or weekend poncing imo unless it's a posh day occasion like a wedding
