Can't wear jeans to work unless it's a dress down day.

I'm sat here in a pair of black skinnies now. Lots of people do wear jeans at my work. I don't usually because after a year of mat leave I quite enjoy the idea of dressing differently (smartly) on the days when I'm at work. Usually I wear pencil skirts or smart Zara trousers or sometimes a dress.

Depends what the policy is. Last place I was at you could on a friday, but not blue ones.

My dh's work place has dress down Fridays, but he says its harder to dress accordingly rather than his usual shirt and trousers (why is dress of the working man so much easier than us ladies?)

I wear jeans to work. I do IT support and I often have to crawl under desks to fix PCs. I am not wearing my best clothes to work.

I can't and have never had a job where I could - have done teaching, work in prison and nw work as a TA.

If I wear trousers I tend to go for dark coloured tailored trousers.
