Formal maternity dress for graduation - help

fleacircus · 16/03/2009 13:50

I'm going to the graduation ceremony for a professional qualification I completed last year. It's in two weeks, I've got a one-year old and no time to shop and I'll be 16wks pregnant (but already look at least 6mths). What can I wear, MN style gurus?

Some lovely ones here:

Have a look on ebay too-there are lots of maternity posh-frocks there that have obviously been bought for a wedding/party etc, worn once and then never again.

Those are both rather lovely - haven't looked at the IO site before, thanks MMJ. Loving the discount on the second one as well...

Liking the Picchu stuff too. Ebay scares me a bit, tried to buy some stuff long ago and kept getting outbid, found the whole thing weirdly stressful (am a big wuss, I know).

Yes, but then there's some kind of reception thing, so I don't know if the gown would come off at that point. But I could get some kind of wrap to go over the top (I have a slight upper arms issue - nothing too horrorshow but I'm not exactly proud of them).
