I have just realised I have gone to work looking like a multicoloured lollipop grrrr

I ordered a white shirt from Boden. Have hardly ever ordered anything from there but have been desperate for a nice 100% cotton white shirt and not been able to find one anywhere (it's the stretch poplin one I think)...

and it arrived, so I took it out the packet and wore it today (didn't really look that hard when getting dressed...)

have arrived at work, gone to the loo and realised, in the mirror, that the button holes and stitching around the holes are blardy multicoloured . It goes yellow, blue, dark pink, light pink grrrr.

Now I know Boden is wankified to the nth degree but WHY OH WHY OH WHY colour the f'ing button holes grrr

(the shirt is such nice material too grrr)

and have serious meetings today grr. Someone came into my office and could SEE them staring at wankified coloured button holed shirt.

Just had a look on the website, it seems subtle.
I'm sure they won't notice, and if they do, they'll be thinking 'I wonder where she got that lovely shirt from?'

That's a good example of what annoys me about Boden - they always have to add something to their clothes which often doesn't work imo. The colours and patterns, frills and furbelows are just awful sometimes and ruin a perfectly nice looking garment.

pmsl, sounds a bit like a county and western theamed shirt,it prob looks fine, but I now how you feel, my pet hate is contrasting stitching, let alone a whole paint palete selection

Why do Boden do that? I wanted some of the white cropped jeans last year. Duly ordered and when they arrived....very obvious orange stitching all over back pockets, trouser seams etc. WTF? Reminds me of Benetton circa 1987

It's Johnny's idea of 'fun' lol. Are you having a 'fun' day at work OP? That is why Boden is so annoying.

Have just looked it up on the website, I'm sure it isn't bad. You will not be a laughing stock.
