Am thinking of going Jeanless for the whole summer

Has anybody done this ?
I'm so fed up of being uncomfortable (they are all a bit tight for no logical reason).
Am going to wax every 6 weeks and buy skirts (if you can all find me some nice ones).
Legs are by far my best feature so I am going to flash them!

Jeans are not the only trousers. (Didn't Jeanette Winterson write a book called that?)

What about dresses, linen trousers, cropped (not cruise style middle aged, but cool ones) I don't think I wear jeans much in the summer TBH, I go with dresses mainly.

Not giving you much advice really am I?

I like dresses, just don't want to look mumsy (have we sorted this years school run dress yet ?).
Cropped trousers make your legs look shorter.

What is your style? I've looked so far on Kew, FCUK,New lok with zilch results. The skirts are bad in those!

I like the idea of new looks prices or even next but never seem to find anything that suits
Again I like fat face and white stuff lets hope they come through a bit more in the summer.

just spent the summer in Australia and did not wear jeans (or any type of leg-covering-device) once. Highly recommend it. Strappy dresses and denim minis all the way!!!

And I don't even have great legs.

Sorrento - I rarely wear jeans in the summer either. If the weather is a little cool you can go for "ankle grazing" length cotton trousers (think Audrey Hepburn chic) or full length linen trousers. Zara is by far one of the best stores for both these styles and they do a very cheap alteration service (or is it just me being a short arse who needs trousers from Zara to be taken up at least a foot?? ).

I wear a combination of either surf-y mum or 50's styles. My summer skirts and dresses come from Zara (beautiful dresses), Boden, H&M (fab for cotton strappy dresses in particular), Top Shop and vintage.

You'll need to wax more than every 6 weeks though - that is a total myth!

I have fine light hair but even so after 2 weeks I wouldn't wear a skirt, and most people get them done every 3 weeks in summer.

So you have about a week where you need trousers or long skirts.
