If you saw a bride making her entrance wearing this dress would you snurk in horror? I've always quite liked it but my mum nearly wet herself laughing when she saw it. DP and I are getting married at the end of next year and I really don't want to walk down the aisle looking foolish.

So kind mumsnetters, is this dress really tastless and horrific? Is it just me who likes it? Be honest now!!

Would piss myself laughing if you headed up the isle in that.

If you are looking for a fab wedding dress try Pronovias - they are a Spanish Company and their dresses are to die for.

MadameCastafiore · 11/03/2009 14:40

sorry aisle!

beanieb · 11/03/2009 14:41

erm, yes I would be a bit

rubyslippers · 11/03/2009 14:43

PestoMonster · 11/03/2009 14:43

PuppyMonkey · 11/03/2009 14:44

ToiletRollCover · 11/03/2009 14:44

toiletrollcover is an apt posting name in this case I think.

PerArduaAdNauseum · 11/03/2009 14:46

Oh my! Will there be a dance routine as well?

snuffyp · 11/03/2009 14:47

PerArduaAdNauseum · 11/03/2009 14:57

beanieb - where on earth did you find that second one?

ToiletRollCover · 11/03/2009 14:58

EachPeachPearMum · 11/03/2009 14:58

beanieb- my eyes are hurting after the 2nd one!

LynetteScavo · 11/03/2009 14:59

I would laugh.

I'm presuming you have amazing legs and are doing an 80's themed wedding

independiente · 11/03/2009 15:00

No, nein, non, nyet... can't think of anymore.
Please don't do it, it looks really bad.
Sorry.

beanieb · 11/03/2009 16:02

lol - the second one seems to be constantly emailed to me!

There's a whole site dedicated to 'bad' wedding gowns.

Someone I know posted on a forum that a bride#s dress should always be long which made me a bit as mine is going to be just below knee length!

EmmaBridgewater956 · 11/03/2009 16:30

It looks like the one Roxy in Eastenders wore when she married Sean. You must have fab legs!

MamacitaGordita · 11/03/2009 16:39

Sorry I'm with the 'no' camp. But by all means go for a dress that's not full length- be a bit different!

tiredsville · 11/03/2009 18:05

beanieb, shutup I'm crying/wetting myself laughing. First one looked like a giant knitted vibrator cosy.

claireinthecommunity · 11/03/2009 19:12

ToiletRollCover, showed the dress to dh and after laughing he said you could walk down the aisle to 'The Stripper', sorry

lol beanieb

Tinker · 11/03/2009 19:28

It's tasteless and horrific. Sorry [sniggers]

Nontoxic · 11/03/2009 19:38

This is the first time I've ever shared MN with DH. He said 'it'd be all right for the bedroom afterwards.'
The other two made me laugh louder than I ever have at MN.

Ronaldinhio · 11/03/2009 20:23

i'd suggest this
