Please help me find a nice spring jacket for DS1 (age 4)...

Am really stuggling to find anything locally...
I'm after a cotton jacket with a hood in a cheerful colour (ie not khaki) and with no logos etc on it.
His last one came from H&M and was lovely but the only ones they have this year are minus hoods!
Have checked M&S and Next but no luck.

Any other ideas?
Thanks

I'm sorry I can't help as I have a dd also aged 4 (btw have you tried Zara?) but your post made me laugh because my dd said to me only the other day - word for word - "Mummy, what I need is a nice spring jacket".

Like she's Kate fecking Moss!!

That's hilarious squeaver!

DS1 keeps complaining that his winter coat is "too heavy for me" (ie he wants me to carry it as he can't be bothered) so the search is on!
Will try Zara, had forgotten about them.

here

DS2 got given a lovely one from Zara recently. Its bluey green check with a hood.

Linwin · 11/03/2009 17:46

hahah - sorry I read that as DD not DS - must pay more attention in future

Lizzylou · 11/03/2009 17:48

I just got a lovely one from Verbaudet for my 3 year old

Here, but is Navy

There is a logo on the side of the arm, and it s warmer than a cagoul, but we live in Lancashire

Lizzylou · 11/03/2009 17:49

And it is not cotton, but it is waterproof

Pannacotta · 11/03/2009 19:46

Thanks will go and look in Zara.
Was after a coat rather than a rain jacket type thing - DS has a very cute frog brolly for when it rains...

How about this in the blue?

Boden jackets are fab and v roomy - my DCs have had the same "spring jacket" for the last 2 years and they have grown a lot in that time!

dizzydixies · 11/03/2009 20:22

debenhams had some nice ones in last week, will try to find a link

dizzydixies · 11/03/2009 20:25

much nicer in real life and was in the 25% sale when I saw it or this one was pretty too

Pannacotta · 11/03/2009 21:14

The Boden one is quite nice I agree, if a bit specific.
Not sure how DS would feel abot wearing a bright pink coat!

Will have a look at Debenhams though...
