trench coat question

Well, I want this one but the credit crunch is snapping at my heels and old age is making me sensible, so I think I am going to settle for this this one in red

But - am iffy about single-breasted - is it all wrong for a trench coat??

Also - what is M&S sizing like? I am usually a size 10 but 12 weeks pregnant - should I go up a size??

advice appreciated.

Can't see the net a porter one. the M and S one looks nice though.
If you've got a fair bit of growing to do perhaps go one size up. M and S sizes are pretty spot on for me.

suppose I could belt it in if I ever get slim again right?

just worried about the shoulders/ top being saggy - am pretty small up top, even when pregnant. No bazookas on this chick. Sadly.

I have a single breasted trench coat, was wearing it today actually.

Got it a few years ago from Mulberry (Xmas pressie from dh) and I think I'll be wearing it for life.

I actually think single breasted looks better as double breasted can look a bit dated (not that Marc Jacobs one tho!). I also have no norks and that's why I think single breasted is better for me.

hth.

No bazookas on me either. Sure someone told me to wear single breasted because of this sad fact. Perhaps I've been wrong all the time.
I have a lovely red one from years ago from US. It's a classic so spend as much as you can justify!
