I want a classic knee length A-line denim skirt. Has anyone seen any around?

A friend of mine who was going travelling gave me a huge bag of clothes all new and there is a gap knee length a line denim skirt in there which is lovely size 14 i think you can have it ffp if you want

I have just got it out.it is part of that 1969 vintage range has seams and the bottom edge is slightly frayed.It is a gap 10 uk 14 really lovely shape actually

really not sure about that pleat, i have a tum but no bottom or hips so it might be ghastly. hoping that high waist thing is flattering.

Is the White Stuff skirt just over the knees or does it cover them? I hate my knees.

Yes please Fishie, would be interested to hear what the Boden one is like, had my eye on it but also unsure about the pleat.

The White Stuff one looks good too... got very distracted looking at other stuff on their website as well and have discovered they have a shop close by so will pop in for a look.

JJ - the White Stuff skirt is just below my knees (I'm 5'7").

Its a lovely soft denim so hangs really nicely. Some that I saw were too stiff.

boden skirt is dead flattering! i got a size smaller than usual and the high waist has squashed my tum into submission without being too muffiny.

neat fit over hips / bottom and pleat doesn't start too high and look like an erection (which i was a bit worried about). finishes above knee, i am 5'5".

the denim is rather thin though.

Too to admit I don't know really what A line means but I would love a denim skirt too to wear with my black new boots. Decent bum but a mummy's tummy.

there is a gorgeous size 12 new with tags one in pinner oxfam!(the tag sadi 'tesco' but dont let that put you off..it was lovely...flat panel pockets on front)
