Anyone had a perm recently ??

Was it ok or a complete disaster ??

I used to have my hair permed regularly as a teen and they were ok but not brilliant.

I don't really want full on curls, more waves, which is actually what I used to get before as perms never took that well in my hair.

Beware before you do though, if it a look you sported as a younger women, you may not like the effect when it is done I.E you may feel like your face looks alot older (and you may find this rather distressing!)

I had a perm in 1990 (is that recent enough)?

choufleur · 07/03/2009 16:10

do people still have perms?

CrackerNut · 07/03/2009 16:19

Apparently they are popular again now.

I do have my hair curly now and again anyway, but do it with it tongs. I prefer it curly.
