Afraid I have a bit of a challenge for you all. Am trying to smarten myself up a bit, which includes buying a few pairs of new sandals. However, because of knee problems I need to wear orthotics (i.e. inserts) in my every-day shoes which require a filled in heel to keep them in place (i.e. not a strap or backless). which may work but are rather less stylish than I hoped and won't work with a skirt (also only start at size 4 so may be too big). Does anyone have any ideas. I'm not keen on the gladiator ones as feel I'm a bit old for the Ben Hur look. I can't wear ballet pumps either unfortunately unless they have a strap over the arch.
