I have quite sallow skin, green eyes and dark brown hair and can never seem to quite get my make up colours right.

I'm fed up looking ill so hoping that you ladies can point me in the right direction

By sallow do you mean yellow-ish?

I'm sure you don't look "ill" but maybe a tinted moisturiser would
give you a more "healthy" glow.

If you prefer a paler complexion then a light foundation and some pinky/bronze blusher might do the job.

You sound like me...

Oddly, lilac, pinks and greys can look fantastic on the eyes with green eyes and pale skin.

Neutral browns to brick shades also.

You probably need to give orange toned shades a go for blusher and lipstick (coral rather than blue-ish pinks for example)

But you can wear some 'blue' tones - try a slatey blue or green on the eyes, purple eyeliner. You can even wear pink but it needs to have a brown undertone (so nothing too zingy but more neutral, unless it has the orange undertone)

Hope this helps...

Thanks!

Yes my skin is quite yellowish - looks great in the summer with a light tan but not so much at this time of year! Have never managed to find the perfect facial fake tan either but I guess that's another thread.

I've got some points on my boots card so i'll give the tinted moisturiser a go. I've actually got the Benefit Hoola bronzer but always felt it was a bit orange so i'll maybe give the one you recommended a try and see how it looks.

I'm sure i'll have some grey shadow hanging around in my make up collection - i'll try it tomorrow.
