waist cincher... do they roll down if you sit down? And do they stay put when you're standing up or do they slip down a bit too? I've got a lovely empire line dress to wear at a wedding, but I do look a bit pg in it because my tummy's flabbier than an old shopping bag and my posture is shocking. I thought something like this might help.

I have one - just got it recently but so far no rolling up or down. Was a bit worried it might show under clothes but certainly shows less than the flabby postnatal tum!

Oh thanks for that. If you don't mind my being a bit personal, are you as flabby round the waist as I am? Of course you can't know as you can't see me but I'm kind of flabby in the middle region and a couple of stone overweight and every corset type thing I've tried has rolled up over my muffin top. I want to avoid the whole Trinny and Susannah neck to ankle spanx thing as I can imagine spending a day in that would be really uncomfortable, but I have a horrible feeling that's the only way to avoid getting the dreaded roll down/up.
