Help, I don't know the first thing about accessorising!

I have a wedding in 3 weeks, and have bought this dress, it's not a formal wedding as such.

dress

where the horseshoe bit is, is VERY low, and I think I need a multi strand long necklace of some description to wear with it, to cover all the bareness.

I have found this:

necklace

But I don't know whether it goes or not? Please help!

If I can find my other thin wedged, patent shoe (DS has hidden one), I will be wearing those with it, and probably a thin black simple cardigan.

Any help or suggestions appreciated (I am in Canada) TIA

I looked at your dress and my immediate thought was that a gold chain with beads would look great and yours is just what I had in mind! I think they would look gorgeous together.

Do you think the colour is ok? ie the garnets, there is red, pink, blue and black in the dress.

(did you run today?)

Well, the lemon quartz will look lovely with the lemon yellow in the dress and the gold will echo the gold detail on the bust. The garnets look more purple in the picture so I thought they might be amethysts, but if they're red then that's a plus because it will pick out the red in the dress.

What colour shoes?

Jacket / coat / wrap?

No running today - still feeling puffed out from y'day !

Black shoes if I can find the one DS has hidden. They're patent wedges, with a very thin heel. Thought about a black cardi, very simple, but have just looked in wardrobe and have a black rabbit cardi with 3 quarter sleeves, so I think I'll wear that.

If I can't find the shoe, I'll have to buy some more, possibly red. A friend is taking a look for me today in a sale downtown.

Am gearing myself up to get out tonight to start W6, it's tiring isn't it!

mmm actually you're right, they are more red, I saw purple initially as well. I should just get it.

It sounds like a lovely outfit. Black shoes would be fine with a black cardigan, so I hope you find the other one.

W6R2 tomorrow - bad weather forecast but will try and brave it nonetheless!
