shoes for a business suit - ultimate challenge?

I've an interview Monday with a traditional financial firm -- perhaps going back to work part time after 3 years! Thankfully, all my suits are still in great shape (thank god I invested in good ones) but I've no work shoes whatsoever anymore!

(somehow methinks my mum-friendly converse, uggs, or riding boots will not work with grey wool or navy pinstripe!)

so, what would you wear with a navy pinstripe skirt suit? and tights?

please, anything but plain court shoes !

I can wear a heel but it's got to be comfortable - no platforms ala Posh

interesting, thanks! I like the Selisa from LK Bennett Ronaldinhio...but am a bit worried about so high a heel!

Naomi those M&S flats look cute for a flat option. Red patent, so bold!

God I am having a hard time imagining wearing a skirt and heels again!
