'tis a miracle...I've actually spotted something in Boden that I like but I need to know if their sizing is small/ generous

Bit to be even contemplating buying something from them.
In my defence it is neither a jolly patterned item or described as sassy....

refers to Control Freaky The Control Freak.

sprinklycheese · 27/02/2009 21:57

The short term offers thing is v clever as gets you going back to the site. Not that I will as I can't bear to see all that "sassy" "flippy" stuff. I practically got the shakes looking through the site, although here I am about to stick something in my basket (that sounds a bit rude doesn't it)

OP posts:
sprinklycheese · 27/02/2009 21:58

oops sorry - normally realise that sort of thing. I've ONLY been on here about 3 years....

OP posts:
sprinklycheese · 27/02/2009 21:58

So....generous or skimpy sizing?

OP posts:
bluesky · 27/02/2009 21:58

they are not too generous, and I find their t-shirt material always shrinks ever so slightly. I have a few things were sleeves are shorter and tighter around chest, my little sister does well out of it!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/02/2009 22:00

lovely clothes at Uttam I have had stuff from them - great service too. Have a look

SoupDragon · 27/02/2009 22:00

I would say their sizing is variable. I've had coats that were generous and fitted one size down and other stuff that was spot on.

sprinklycheese · 27/02/2009 22:02

Sorry BALDogs but that's so not my thing. I don't think I could get away with the patterns without looking frumpy but I'm sure others can and don't!

sprinklycheese · 27/02/2009 22:03

Ok so I normally go for a 10 on top and a 12 on my bum....so which to go for. Some 12s drown my top half, some 10s are too small on my bum.

OP posts:
controlfreakythecontrolfreak · 27/02/2009 22:07

like the second more than first..... i'd go with a 10 myself.... i think they tend to be generous on top half...

SoupDragon · 27/02/2009 22:14

If you have a free returns offer, go for both and return the one which doesn't fit

I think a 10 should be fine though.
