Johnnie, just in case you are reading this for market research - your stylised orange and peach tinted mug-shot does you no favours and your jaunty little captions on how to accessorise my items are turning me off. Please don't do this. You are demeaning yourself and your tone is desperate. See especially page 20 (fun skirt and skinny belt). If you want to sell more skinny belts, it would be more productive, I feel, to knock a few £ off the price, and I will then be happy to oblige. Thank you.

His loathesome 'captions' are the reason I stopped receiving that God forsaken catalogue. I know probably doesn't write them ,and has some office person do it for him, but really.

The interview ('the third degree') was almost as bad. I held back on that however, but the captions are a step too far. He's guilty, author or not, for putting his name to such utter doggerel.

The last catalogue he sent had the caption "Is it something I said?" on the front of it.

It's the utter lack or relevance and thought that's irked me. And the random pairing of items. Like the suggestion that a skinny belt will make one iota of difference (subtle or otherwise) to the 'mood' of a fun skirt. It's obvious he just wants to flog more skinny belts.
