Where do you keep all your make up?

Mine are all in a giant estee lauder make up box i got as a gift ages ago, but bits and pieces are jumbled together, brushes are in with lipsticks and eyeshadow with concealer.
Is there an easier
way to keep this? And then where do you put it all?

Just wondering....

I have only what I use every day in a large make up bag .
Other bits are in a box in my wardrobe.
I bet you don't use half of what you've got.

I use a basket with a hinged lid on my dresser for the makeup itself. If I don't use it, I bin it. For brushes, I have a little vase, also on my dresser. Keeps it quite tidy, and to hand.

i have got a proper make up box that i got from QVC, was about £60 but i can fit it all in and it has 4 large drawers qwhich fold out, it is ace. everything goes in it apart form the brushs which i keep in a pot i got form muji for aobut a quid

Clear plastic sets of drawers from Muji - copied idea from SIL and have never looked back! They look good, easy to clean and prompt you to weed out old make-up on a regular basis rather than just letting it sink to the bottom...

i use a little wooden box my dad made me years ago (for pencils) it's a bit like the trays you get to organise utensils in drawers

also use a small baby food jar to keep brushes in.

have to be organised or i go mad.

I have a make up box from M&S- white plastic. it has dividers, but that's not enough! I keep eye shadows and lippy in one compartment, and blsuher and concealers in the others- with brushes in the same sections. I keep my foundation and cleansers etc etc in the bathroom cabinet, next to my make up box.
I make a strict rule to clear it out at least 3 times a year and get rid of anything that I haven't used for ages, or anything that is almost empty- unless I love it! consequently, I have only 4 eyeshadows, about 3 lippies and one lipgloss, 2 blushers, foundation,concealer, eye pencil and mascara.
