I want pretty tops! Where can I find pretty tops!

I am in the process of a wardrobe overhaul, doing well but now I need nice tops to go under my nice new jumpers and cardis and am struggling! Where on earth do I look?

Have looked in New Look, Top Shop etc. Don't even mention Fatface I love the place and all most of my jumpers are from there and I am in great danger of having only clothes from fatface. Plus their tops are nice but not really what I'm after.

I tried Monsoon and loved the look of this and this but they cling in all the wrong places. They are a good example of the sort of thing I wnat though. Pretty fabrics but fairly simple and good to layer under sweaters. Prefer t-shirts etc to camisoles. I like these and have a couple from a while ago but find the lace tends to go after a few washes and I want stuff to last. these look good to layer but then you feel like you can't take your jumper off as it is a bit unerwear like.

Any suggestions of shops to try?

While we're at it some new skirts would be good. Knee length, mid calf looks terrible on me!

just to say those lace vests you can get exactly the same in Primark about £4.00 ..Prob made in the same sweat shop!

Dorothy perkins do lace tops like that.

They look less underweary when you wear them on their own.

That mistral site has some ok stuff, never heard of it before. Not so keen on kew.

Don't have a zara or an urban outfitters. Bit limited here! Unless I drag the dcs to Newcastle or the metro centre hell, which I am not doing, at 2 and 8 weeks I don't think much shopping would be done!
