ignore the vile smell of regurgitated Ribena and its REALLY good. I ruub it in my face withe the "ball"(?) of my palm - thebit under your thumb.
really perks up your skin. I read in GH this month that exfoliation is THE way to make your skin look younger.

Have used this also Super.Agree it is very good.
I usually buy it on special offer in Tesco/Superdrug/Boots for 1/2 price.
Def noticed a difference when I use it.

SuperMario · 20/02/2009 10:05

It's probably really difficult to perfume given that it is not your typical face wash.

When you add water to it, it starts an exothermic chemical reaction.

SuperMario · 20/02/2009 10:47

very nice.

Exothermic whatnot sounds scary (gives out heat, presumably?)

would it be ok on sensitive skin do you think? I need something like this, but skin sometimes reacts to scrubby thing.

RumMum · 20/02/2009 13:38

I use the kids clean and clear facial scrub.. it warms up when you put water on it and is lovely.. I notice the difference when I use it.

what doggie said

I have sensitive skin too

scienceteacher · 20/02/2009 16:57

The best anti-aging you can do is to stay out of the sun, or use a SPF moisturiser.

scienceteacher · 20/02/2009 16:58

Penetrating cells is very dodgy territory, wats, severely lacking in any scientific evidence.

Wats I would like to hear about your spring skincare routine! What does it entail? Always looking for tips...

brimfull · 20/02/2009 19:30

I am using the olay 3 point regenrist cream-very £££ for me but so far I am impressed.Hav ebeen using it for about 2-3 weeks now and I have noticed a difference.

janeite · 20/02/2009 19:38

Love "dreams and mist".

I've used the Olay thing before but can't remember the smell.

I like Origins "Modern friction" for exfoliating, although that has a weird smell too (a bit like perfumed cottage cheese is the only way I can think to describe it).

I love the Olay Regenerist serum.

earthpixie · 20/02/2009 22:15

I've found that massaging in a simple cleanser for a minute or two and then removing with a damp cotton wool pad is enough exfoliation for my sensitive skin. If you do it every day it really works.

Thanks wats Lol at 'skin poncery' I think I need to take a leaf out of your book, my skin is crap at this time of year. Self-tan for the face might be a good starting point...
