When are you too old to wear a short skirt/dress???

Pondering this as have found a lovely dress for my girl's night out and it is a tad too short however without blowing my own trumpet my legs are ok but at 34 am I too old??? I don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb!

If your legs are OK and the rest of you hasn't spread into middle-age, go for it.

To echo MrsBadger - you should show off your legs or your breasts but not both simultaneously.

By 34 you ought to have a pretty good idea of what your good and bad bits are and be good at camouflaging the less beautiful bits and highlighting all that is worth flaunting

I'm 44 and still wear them. OK with opaque tights rather than anything else. But if you've got good pins flaunt 'em!

How short is short?

At 38 you are still YOUNG!!!!!

I wear 2 inches above the knee, with opaque tights and riding boots and I am early 50s. My legs are good still and I'm a size 10.

I wouldn't wear a short skirt/dress in summer though without tights etc as my knees are a bit saggy ! s- didn't notice til I looked down.
