Early scouting for an August wedding outfit

It's also in Italy so imagine it might be sweltering.
Fancy going completely against my usual style and trying sleek and sophisticated. What do you think of sleeveless blouse, lightweight jacket and longish skirt and slingbacks?
I am a 10 and have terrible posture-droopy.Have had a look around various sites and am not mad about much I have seen.

links please!

As a size 10 you can wear what you like!

Italians tend not to go OTT at weddings so dont go with a hat or anything.

I will find something for you.

Colour?
Price?
Style?

Your outfit sounds ok but as I cannot see it, it could be fab or awful!!

nice

cute

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2009 18:29

Ok thanks
'nice' is too long and I like 'cute'
Colour well I have in my head a dark though not black jacket and skirt and any colour blouse.
Would be willing to spend up to £100 on clothes and would need shoes too.
Style- slinky, stylish 50's-Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hot tin Roof, cool.

love this

lovely

DH is Italiana and we lived there for 3 years and it will be sweltering in August! Linen or cotton might be a good choice.

Where is the wedding?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/02/2009 18:42

Ooh nice.
However I am slightly put off by length of dress. Slightly too short. And with my droopiness I wonder if a dress will accentuate it wheas a suit with blouse would break up figure more, although may be hotter.
Wedding is near Modena.
