Ok, i need serious help, i am starting to feel old and outdated. Alot of you mn's are younger than me...i think! I am early 40's, feel about 25, pathetically immature actually most of the time lol! Anyway.....i will get to the point.
I usually wear tesco foundation then some blusher, can't remember the name, the small round pot, is it boujouis??, something like that anyway! Then a little urban decay eye liner and maybe abit of mascara. I used to wear touche eclat all the time, but abit skint right now so can't afford to replace it. I see all these people putting powder on and think maybe i need it! But i always thought it made you look wrinkly and old if you wore alot of powder?? Although it might make my foundation stay on abit longer....
Any help you could give me would be great, you know, new products or colours or essential items! I am dark haired and kind of medium skin tone.

......so is it powdered foundation then? I don't think tinted moisturiser is enough for me but don't think i need a really thick coverage as lots of people have mentioned i have nice skin Think that is probably because a few years ago i started wearing a full sunblock on my face.
Thanks for the link christiana, also the marie clare website idea is great thanks.

One of the best foundations is Clinique , imo- they have loads of different types. [www.clinique.co.uk]]

Do the online quiz to find your skin type then choose foundation- or go to a store and ask.

I think the basics you need are: foundation, over appropriate moisturiser, sunscreen- Clinique City Block SPF 25/40, concealer, blusher, eye pencil, couple of shadows in sludgy nuetral colours- beigy browns and slightly lighter, mascara, - blusher and lippy- either slick of coloured gloss or a sheer lipstick.

christiana - just followed that link and sounds fascinating! Don?t keep castor oil in the house but just might and get hold of something. The logic behind it and the homemade DIY approach to it all appeals.
Going to go foundation and concealer shopping this weekend This thread has inspired me to sort myself out a bit!

I have ordered the castor oil Haven't managed to get out and have a bit of a makeover yet, too busy with boring stuff this weekend.
But this thread is great to look at for ideas etc., Christiana's other link is great too
