Size 18-20 top, 14 bottom. Need a dress for a posh wedding in the Summer. Help.

Hi Lizzylou - I like the 1st dress not to wear to this partic wedding. I'm not keen on the pattern on the 2nd. Like the 3rd and would wear to work but not wedding.

Frontrunner is still Jade monsoon dress so I just have to go and try it on. Would still like some more ideas in case that doesnt fit though

The second two were to show you shapes of dresses which may suit (I agree about the pattern on the second, but the way it isn't too low and has an insert could mean you don't flash the IL's!).

Is this nice or nasty? Saw it in the shop today and liked it. Didnt ty it on as had dd. Looked nicer in rl i think.

Not nasty it's a versatile dress really for spring and summer. The detailing embroidery and beads are yellow and the dress has a sheen, so I would aim to pick up the yellow in the dress with a yellow or gold clutch bag and wear a cream shawl as you've suggested. The shoes would be best in a dark olive green or pewter/ grey. Matching colours with this pattern of sunflowers would make it look too old imo, so if you go a bit funky it will look fresh and young.
