Pashminas - any suggestions

Other than don't buy one! I know they can be considered old hat but I think they're so versatile.

After a recent drunken spree, I have lost a much treasured lilac one, which I need to replace. Can't remember where I got it from and was looking for any suggestions.

I've googled already but there are so many and I'm sure I saw a thread a while back, saying that one particular supplier was no good.

Any ideas? I get so much wear out of them, I'm prepared to splurge, if needs be.

I think the supplier you mention was mypashmina.

I have bought from them before and never had any problems at all.

I usually buy mine from the Cashmere Centre, yes I know Angela Rippon models their pashminas and she is probably twice my age, but I don't care.. they are lovely products.

Good luck!

I love them: don't care if they're old hat. I get mine from Gap or Tie rack (the Tie Rack ones are a lovely wool, silk mix and really fine and soft).

I had troubles with mypashmina, but that was with a custom made item they sent to Holland and not to me. They seemed a bit chaotic but the black 100% cashmere pashmina they sent me in compensation for their errors is lovely and soft and snuggly and I have worn it to keep my shoulders warm in draughtly restaurants and as a scarf to work, and never want to take it off, so I wouldn't say don't buy one from them, just don't order if you need it for a particulr date.

do you have a tie rack locally? They are closing down and there is 30 per cent of everything at least, with lots of pashnminsa.

I had one of these from M&S but I lost it on Friday. I'm gutted. It was prob the most useful item in my wardrobe and I can't face paying out £60 to replace it (I bought it on one of their 20% offdasy before Christmas, using a giftcard I'd won in one of their promotions )

I bought 2 for £5 in Covent Garden yesterday.

One was lilac and the other was red.

They are so lovely and so versatile and I get lots of compliments when I wear the others that I have.

I had a couple of el-cheapo ones from an Eid market but they creased really, really badly. The colours were lovely though.

Apparently in this week's ?Telegraph on Saturday 21 Feb there will be a ovucher for a free pasmina from Tie Rack. You have to buy the paper and collect the pashmina on the same day.
