What colour eye shadow will suit me?

This year i have decided that i am going to experiment with my make up a bit more as every time i go out i only ever wear brown eyeshadow or occasionally silver. I have blonde (not a very nice colour blonde) and blue eyes. What colour eye shadow would suit me well?

Do you know if you are 'cool' or 'warm'? Silver sounds pretty funky to me!

according to my new magazine, you could use bright blue as that is 'in' this year.... i would go to a laura mercier counter and ask for makeover -- I had one recently and it was fab!

if you have blue eyes don't try to match the blue, but you can still wear it. If you want to quickly know if you're cool or warm hold a piece of silver/cool material near to your face in good light, then gold/warm and close your eyes both times, then open then and you should see which makes your face look brighter.

I think im 'warm'. id love to go to a stand and have a make-over but im too embarraced and shy! My sister has dark hair and blue eyes and she can wear any colour she wants and she looks fantastic. i just look like a tart. not fair

juicychops where do you live? certain makeup counters are better than others, mac s fab. Personally I love really strong colours, I have blue eyes (not blond though) and I wear lots of turquoise shades, bright blues and green. I prefer really clean, clear colours not murky and browny IYWIM. I can't suggest good colours without seeing you, and it depends what you wear. I often 'match' my eyeshadow to my clothes

I live in Dartford. Id love to wear really bold bright colours like turquise and green. They are the sorts of colours my sister wears. But i would just look silly. I don't know if it is that they just don't suit me or if it is just me thinking they don't when in fact they do. I know what you mean about browns and murky colours though. They are just safe colours.
