Max Factor's Flash Lashes - currently £3 off in Superdrug so works out about £7.50.

Apparently the 2True mascara (available in Superdrug - pnly £1.95) is fab. It scored 5/5 stars in The Observer Womens' mag the other week. I have still to tr it out.

Jewelsandgems · 15/02/2009 21:04

I got estee lauder projectionist (brand new full size in box) for £6 and it is fabulous!

Jewelsandgems · 15/02/2009 21:04

marymoocow · 15/02/2009 21:06

Maybe my dd has it, as I discovered her last weekend with mine smeared all around her eyes (no mummy I must have caught it with my pen) .
Sorry no help but couldn't resist the story.

giraffescantdancethetango · 15/02/2009 21:07

Lancome - last for ages

CuppaTeaJanice · 15/02/2009 21:07

Collection 2000 - cheap and brilliant!

kikid · 15/02/2009 21:07

Aldi, £2 ish , great

ja9 · 15/02/2009 21:09

boots natural collection. 1.99. it's honestly great!

Countingthegreyhairs · 15/02/2009 21:09

Recently bought a cheapo Nivea one and it was TERRIBLE, lumpy and streaky from day one, binned on day 2 (so actually turned out to be quite expensive)

Agree that Maybelline is best of cheaper ranges and have found no.7 OK too ...

Tbh though, I think mascara (like foundation) is one of those things it's worth spending a bit more on if at all possible ...a really good one such as a Lancome or YSL lasts and lasts and lasts ...

fishie · 15/02/2009 21:14

loreal with the sort of comb instead of brush is best for me. but i get weepy eyes from lots of others, bad gal and lancome included. expensive mistakes. otherwise beauty without cruelty's dark brown.

one of those sunday supplement thingies said that mascara was a thing to economise on.

Molesworth · 15/02/2009 21:17

Is that the big fat yellow one BaDaBing? I'm another Bad Gal Lash fan, but find the big fat yellow Maybelline one v good for the money.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 15/02/2009 22:18

Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara. Fab and I think around a tenner.

Coldtits · 15/02/2009 22:24

I have always like collection 2000 mascara, and although I have tried some expensive ones, I return to collection 2000. Plus it's so cheap!

Lancome Hypnose for me, but recently Clinique High Impact has been getting good plugs by the beauty eds. Lancome is a whopping £19 and Clinique about £12.
