I discovered them through a recent thread on here & love some of clothes on the site. I will wait until the sales (spring/summer)as they are tres expensive (dh would have a coronery ) just wondering if anyone has shoppped there and if so what is the quality like, do they last & are you likely to get good size selection in the sale?

Oh dear Horizons - what have you made me do?!.

Had a quick peak and ordered a couple of things. They have a sale on at the moment!

I haven't looked lately, because they don't/didn't do overseas. Used to be good - VERY long lasting. A bit mumsy at times though this might have changed. Still have t-shirts from 5 years ago - this sounds very sad, I know.

Just had a look. What's all the grey and pink; it's like the 80s revisited. The wideleg linen trousers are fab, though.

No- but have looked at website.
Seems expensive- £60 ish for jeans- and the skirts are ghastly- all long, shapeless and like the worst excesses of M&S!

I ordered a few things last year, cropped linen trousers, swing tshirts etc but all of it went back. Sizes come up small, imo, trousers really showed vpl and really didn't fit me well at all - I'm normally a fairly standard 12 in most shops. I also think it's good quality but overpriced, worth waiting for the sales if there's something you like.

I also wondered if it was aimed primarily at a slightly more mature market, my friend's mum (early 60's) loved it and ordered loads, as did MIL which always makes me wonder...[

I think 60s is about right! I a m a young 50+ and wouldn't wear any of it.
Prefer kew, Jigsaw, White Stuff etc.

Uh oh ....will my batwing sweater and dotty shirt be winging their way back then!???

BikeRunSki · 14/02/2009 22:48

I got quite into them a couple of years ago:

T shirts/jersey tops - very short. Fabric thin.

Trousers- had three pairs, seams came undone on all of them!

In general - sizes a bit small.

Havn't ordered anything in last 18 months or so, because 1 - I was pregnant, but 2 - I think their clothes are very £££ for the quality.
