Can't justify it. Can I just daydream.

I would wear it a lot. And you don't have to dryclean it.

Will tell myself it will look rotten on.

it is horrible sack.

for £141 you can do better, I'm sure.

LoveMyLapTop · 13/02/2009 12:17

its awful
looks like something my Nan would ahve worn

bellabelly · 13/02/2009 12:18

I do like it although the neckline would be no good for me (big norks). Try it on. If it looks awful you'll feel relieved. If it looks great, you can save up for it or wait for the sale...

lilacclaire · 13/02/2009 12:19

My nan wouldn't even wear that lol

bellabelly · 13/02/2009 12:19

PS meant to add that I do think Jigsaw are good quality so it would last and last..

TheThoughtPolice · 13/02/2009 12:20

It will deffo still be in stock when sale time comes.

Miyazaki · 13/02/2009 12:21

I think it's v chic. Agree with bella: I would try it on, that way you will see if it suits you. If yes, wait for sale (if you can't afford it) if no, hurrah!

Miyazaki · 13/02/2009 12:22

Not in the green though, don't know why.

smudgie2626 · 13/02/2009 12:28

Mans point of view .... wrap a curtain around yourself. Would never tell the difference.

Wizzska · 13/02/2009 12:28

Honestly, you guys just can't see the potential. You must have very stylish grandmothers! I still like it.

OP posts:
smudgie2626 · 13/02/2009 12:30

We agree on something then, cos i think my grandmother used to wear one just like it.

TheThoughtPolice · 13/02/2009 12:33

Mine is dead and she still wouldn't wear it....

kiltycoldbum · 13/02/2009 12:33

youre being mental, you dont need it, youre just winding yourself up

seriously though, find one half the price buy it and youve saved £70 perfectly justifiable!

Wizzska · 13/02/2009 12:37

I'm not going to buy it, I can't afford it. I was just dreaming.

But I still like it. And if it goes on sale...

smudgie2626 · 13/02/2009 12:41

Point is Wizzska .. If you want it and you can afford it then have it. If you cant then dont. Your DH would probably much prefer a mini and black boots from primark. (not that DW would appreciate me suggesting this to her)

themoon66 · 13/02/2009 12:44

Sorry, but it's not nice. It looks like one of them polyester, elasticated waist dresses they sell on our local market for £12.

Wizzska · 13/02/2009 12:45

Smudgie, you're right. DH would prefer that too, but I'd not be able to wear a black mini to work.

Would I have to smell of Worthers Originals when I wear it though?

OP posts:
MrsMattie · 13/02/2009 12:45

Oh God, it's hideous. Save your money!

TheThoughtPolice · 13/02/2009 12:47

smudgie, Wizzka would be buying the chintzy sack dress for herself, not for her DH. BTW, I'm sure the mini and boots would look lovely on you

Wizzska · 13/02/2009 12:55

If my DH had his way, all women would have to wear mini and boots and support Celtic. But sadly that is not the real world, and his wife, according to lovely mnetters, wants to dress like a granny.

smudgie2626 · 13/02/2009 13:03

I absolutely agree with you ThoughtPolice, the dress would be for wizzska. BUT does she want afternoon tea or to be dragged to the bedroom by DH.

@ wizzska

TheThoughtPolice · 13/02/2009 13:08

will there be cake in the bedroom ?

smudgie2626 · 13/02/2009 13:08

lol I believe it is lemon drizzle on here or choccy fudge ... how am i doing lol

TheThoughtPolice · 13/02/2009 13:11

Nah, I am forever faithful to DH's Victoria Sandwich.

Linwin · 13/02/2009 13:14

I tried this dress on in blue. It is not flattering at all. in any way.
