Does anyone feel really unattractive since having their baby?

I diddn't really after no's 1&2 - but after breat feeding ds2 for 9 months, my boobs have taken a bit of a dive south (quite a lot actually!)

This makes me feel quite bad

My normally high self esteem took a massive nose-dive after I had DD. I went from a curvy 10 to a curvy 14, I wasn't really bothered by the weight gain but more by the look of my body without clothes.

Pre-DD I was a dancer (of the exotic variety) and so my body/figure was my bread and butter, it was a hugggggggggggge blow when it became unrecogniseable post DD. Especially when I'd had countless well meaning folk assuring me that my lithe 20 year old body would just pop back into shape after the baby - it didn't.

Now DD will be 3 in August and I've only recently (in the last 6/8 months or so) gone down to a small/med size 12. I truly believe that old addage that it takes a woman's body 2 years to recover from childbirth, it was certainly the case for me.

My stretchmarks and 'pouch' were my main horrors, now the pouch is diminishing (unless I lean forward ) and the stretchmarks are silvery. I've come to accept my new body, it's been quite difficult but I'm there now. Although the thought of exposing my body to anyone but DH now fills me with dread.

Nice to know I'm not the only one! I went from a size 6 to a size 10, which is a massive difference to me!
Don't even have time to do my hair and make up these days!!

Yup and even though today I managed to get into my old jeans and got a toot from a workie van (ugly bloke though) I just look in the mirror and see lots of lines, a grey complexion and a tired and sadder looking me!!

I felt like this too and have only just started feeling like the old me. And I'm wondering whether this is a temporary thing or whether I'm really back. And my dd is 2.5, so it's taken a while! And only now I'm feeling a bit more like me can I even consider having another one.....
