Jack Will: Yay or Nay for a grown woman?

Quite fancy a Jack Wills tracksuit, little bit preturbed by the amount of teen girls around my town wearing them with their uggs and uber GHD'd hair.

What do you think?

My gut instinct is no. (This would apply to any tracksuit worn for non sporting activities though.)

DrNortherner · 11/02/2009 10:18

Oh you see I like trackies. For the school run (when not at work) and for slobbing around in on a sunday.

Hmmm. Do you have a link of the item you are considering?

muffle · 11/02/2009 10:22

Yay to Jack Wills, but with very careful selection radar on max. I think they have some really nice oversized woollies and socks, lovely pjs, etc - though v expensive so I'd only go in the sale. But i wouldn't wear something really preppy and yukky with "Jack Wills" across it - bleurgh. Yes I think we need to see your trackies.

dexter73 · 11/02/2009 10:27

Not for adults according to this article!! Wouldn't want to be thought of as the Very Embarrassing Mum!!

diedandgonetodevon · 11/02/2009 10:30

Yes but be careful in what you choose. Try their other company Aubin & Wills for a mor adult selection!

DrNortherner · 11/02/2009 10:31

Lol at that article. I have made up my mind. I am too old for JW.

OP posts:
weepootleflump · 11/02/2009 10:34

I wear JW and am 33. I don't wear the trackies but have a couple of hoodies. I mainly wear their oversized wool jumpers with tights and uggs. I even make an attemp at the side swept messy hair .

Pawslikepaddington · 11/02/2009 10:36

I wear JW trackies, but with UGG boots and back-brushed hair. Am 23 thought, and we all wear them at uni so I don't look odd. They do lovely shirts and cashmere jumpers too though.

BonsoirAnna · 11/02/2009 10:38

No no no it's for teenagers and undergraduates.

Pawslikepaddington · 11/02/2009 10:38

And ideally I need to lose another 2 stone to look good in them!

orangina · 11/02/2009 10:39

Am with dexter73 on this....

independiente · 11/02/2009 11:42

Absolutely not for any self-respecting adult over 25! (Sorry weepootleflump!)

whatevermaycome · 11/02/2009 12:06

Ulrika was wearing jack wills trackies/t shirts etc throughout celeb BB - thought she looked nice and she isa 40 odd mother ......if you ask me it is the same rule as with Top shop etc over a certain age - choose selectively....
