sorry shite at links

fruitcorner · 09/02/2009 21:29

Has anyone got the White Stuff denim skirt that is linked to on earlier post? If so, how long is it?

LoveMyLapTop · 09/02/2009 21:45

God I dont know what i linked to but i dont wear menopause jeans like that

ramonaquimby · 09/02/2009 21:50

have a couple of the cord skirts from kew - their sizing is generous I think - am a 10 there but normally 12. I live in skirts in the winter with my boots!

mileniwmffalcon · 09/02/2009 21:51

white stuff skirts are all 4" too long.

ABetaDad · 09/02/2009 21:54

If you are over 20 years old - I would wear a very long coat to hide it.

A denim skirt is never a good look for a woman - alright for a girl.

ramonaquimby · 09/02/2009 21:54

ignore abetadad

Lizzylou · 09/02/2009 21:56

Abetadad
Agree, ignore

ABetaDad · 09/02/2009 23:10

C'mon - who do you know who seriously looks good in a denim skirt over the age of 20?

Don't get me wrong - I like a woman in a skirt - in fact I plead with my wife for her to wear them instead of trousers. Short, long, wrap round, A line, pleated. I love em all.

Its just denim skirts that are for a certain time in a woman's life and over 20 is not it.

ChippingIn · 10/02/2009 00:25

ABetaDad - why are you being such a perve?

All you are doing is going around the message boards stirring up trouble. FO.

There's not a lot that doesn't look good with a denim skirt. I love boots and white linen shirt, chunky jewellery...

AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 10/02/2009 08:16

chip, he (it?)is a fairly crap troll

MrsWilburton · 10/02/2009 10:24

I think abetadad is allowed to have an opinion guys! really!
yes kew skirts are very generous in size

ChippingIn · 10/02/2009 14:18

MrsWilburton - did you read the other thread he started and other posts he has made? He just likes to stir up trouble - well, he can go and do it somewhere appropriate not on a genuine board.

deaconblue · 10/02/2009 20:09

ooh lots has happened on my lowly denim skirt thread since yesterday !! My skirt is from Dotty P's and was just £25. I was paying for said stripey top and the assistant was wearing it, before I knew it I had asked her about it, she'd whisked a 14 off the rack and it was paid for! Had planned to wear today but snowy here again so didn't want to go out in cowboy boots

I'm saying nothing.

MrsSeanBeanIsEmployable · 10/02/2009 22:43

Firstly, thick tights, coloured ones can look good. Flat knee high boots only realistic option at the moment. I am a big fan of the 'Emily' style from Hobbs. Ballet or any flat pumps good for warmer weather though.

Long C&C california vest or t shirt with shrug or cropped cardi.
