So, perfumes from clothes shops are generally considered a bit naff aren't they?

Because today I absent mindedly sprayed myself with some of the Zara perfume while waiting in the queue and I loved it I can still smell it and it is yummy. I know noone will see the bottle. But it's naff isn't it?

If you love it then, no - would you rather buy Jordan's offerings???

davidbowiescodpiece · 09/02/2009 19:11

funnily enough i read your title and thought in my head before clicking on it "well i quite like Zara's and the kids one too" who cares what other people think if you like it thats all that matters!

Not as far as I know...I bought my second bottle of a lovely one in La Senza on Saturday. It smells beautiful, lasts for ages, is a huge bottle, and only twenty quid. I have a few lovely perfumes, but this one has been the best value. Nothing naff about a bargain these days, I reckon!

Bumping to see what other people think?

plantsitter · 09/02/2009 23:55

No, I think it depends whether or not it smells nice, dunnit?

tattycoram · 10/02/2009 07:39

I don't think so really, if you like it it doesn't matter.

tattycoram · 10/02/2009 07:40

I bought a big bottle of Zara orange flower water reduced to £3.99 last week, it's yummy

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 10/02/2009 07:50

If that were true then Donna Karen would have a problem

and Dolce

and Valentino

and Chanel

Zara perfume is supposed to be lovely and I'm quite sure that their people spent a lot of time putting together their smell - I bet loads of trendy European women wear it

LibrasJusticeLeagueofBiscuits · 10/02/2009 07:51

If you like the smell then what's the problem. I wear Paul Smith for Women in the evenings, love it.
