jeans with boots

calling all wonderful people who actually know about fashion!!!

• are skinny jeans inside knee boots 'last season' or an enduring thing?

i have never worn skinny jeans and until this week had never tucked jeans into my boots. this week i've got my slightly bootcut jeans tucked in cause of the snow and i think i might like it..... it is too late to buy skinny jeans?

bearing in mind the reason i avoided them till now is that i'm not that slim of thigh - i'm a bit of a 'hockey rugby player' build in a size 12.

Last season. Don't bother investing in this look now.

Invest in the new S/S09 brights. Much more fun.

Ah, i suspected as much So what is the new season's look for jeans then? I do quite need some new jeans anyway.

Also, living in scotland i wont be able to wear anything 'spring/summer' until at least after easter without getting hypothermia so need something to get through till then.

it was a complete revelation to me to buy skinny jeans i am no spring chicken buy some cheap ones from dot perkins at £15. i have worm mine loads i love them give it a go!

If you like the look, wear it! No-one is going to laugh at you. I still see plenty of gorgeous young things sporting skinny jeans + boots round here.

Straight jeans instead of skinny as they don't go out of fashion and still look ok under boots

If it suits you, wear it.

Don't wear something because it is 'in'. Keep a style that suits you. You can still add in the fashion stuff in accessories or fabrics.

I like them and am horrified that they might be 'last season'!

I am still slimming in to this look so I am with you (albeit a size 14) as well as short!

It's all about the skinny flare this season,
so I've been told.

I'm sticking to straight legs, skinnies don't really work for me.

What is a "skinny flare"?
