Is anyone else fed up with looking like a bag lady in this weather

I just feel bleugh in this weather wherever I am. Tho not driving anywhere so maybe getting more exercise. But not cycling either.

At home with sick son today but yesterday went into work wearing some rather revolting boots (had to take smarter boots because we had a function) with bootflare jeans tucked in. Plus bundled up in several layers. Tho no hat yesterday.

Was going to go for quick drink after work (cx though because of son) but was not looking forward to it due to going in trainers and possibly falling over afterwards on icy pavements. Perhaps I am just too vain!!!

Indoors i normally have bare feet or birkis all year round but am wearing track pants, socks long sleeved top and cardi - again feel bleugh!!

usually sleep naked but have been getting into nighty, dressing gown and socks mid evening on some cold evenings.

Feel like my mother/OAP/bag lady.

Roll on spring

Does anyone feel remotely glam/OK in this weather?

I do [smug]
although I have abandoned my wool coat (no good for rolling in snow) I have been looking fetching in a sporty way (including ski trous this morning). The apres-ski look (yoga-type loungewear, hoodies etc) is better than nightwear.

and nightie + socks is a bad look - pjs are better

I always look like a bag lady regardless of the weather.

Yes because my maternity coat looks like something your great-granny might choose should she, by a freak of nature, become pregnant. Beige padded nylon. Mmmmm. It's like a 'car coat' (anyone have grandparents / parents who have those?). When it stops snowing I will be able to wear the grey wool coat again, but for now, I am the oldest pregnant woman in history.

Oh Mrs Badger you are an inspiration - I draw a line at skiwear but am def interested in yoga lounge wear and I do own a lightweight hoodie.

Socks and nightie are awful I agree but I don't own any pjs.

I also wore rather cropped cardi for work yesterday, with dark denim and long sleeved top and upon reflection it did not look good. Bet my colleague was dying to comment (she is very stylish).

Usually winter knitwear is a zipped cardi so maybe that's jsut as bad as cropped cardi.

I just want summer to come - was discussing with other mum turning up our collection of linen trousers the other day so we are prepared.
