In two weeks time, I shall be going to a real life , proper , qualified hairdressers for the first time in years. for a bit of a hair overhaul

not quite sure what she will do with the scorched bits , but hey ho!

so, what shall i go for?

is a centre parting terrible?

i have fine wavy hair that can go curly/frizzy in the rain/damp.

then you may need to embrace the curl

mine kinks rather than waves and makes me look a bit mad. I don't straighten - no time and hair still kinks anyway

Lulumama · 04/02/2009 20:33

well, it only curls from about half way down, so have sort of flat roots and then half hearted curls

tis the worst of both worlds!!!

sounds a bit like mine - layers work as they make the most of the curl. If I go too short hair goes dead straight and I look awful. One tip from my last hairdresser; twist hair up into 2 buns over your ears (v flattering ) at night then brush in the morning, gives hair a nice even wave.

I think something like this could work, or this?

Definitely something less straight, flat hair is not a good look!! Volume and texture is your friend

Lulumama · 05/02/2009 07:15
