'Ugg' boots

Ok so I know I'm at risk of being branded a chav but I'd like some Ugg advice please.

I'm planning on getting a pair of ugg boots from here. And yes I know they are not genuine Ugg Australia boots but they are still uggs if that makes sense. They are proper sheepskin.

Anyway, the point is- I don't know whether to go for long or short ones. I've got a pair of cheap £10 ones now and they are in between the length of the sizes quoted on the website.

I'm 5ft 7, will the short ones look silly on me? Do the long ones still work fine under jeans or do they go funny at the knees?

and I don't think they are chavvy either I just know a lot of people do.
