My DH bought me a beautiful diamond bracelet for our wedding in October, but sadly it broke shortly afterwards. And then the replacement broke. And then the next replacement broke. And we decided enough was enough.

So he wants to buy me something to replace it. It can be anything not necessarily a bracelet.
My engagement and wedding ring are yellow gold but only because the wedding ring was my Great Grandmas. All my other nice jewellery is white gold.

Any ideas? We are oop north so no London only jewellers pls.

I would prefer the metal to be gold but otherwise anything goes. Budget is up to £500.

lucky you! if i was you i would go and have a look around a few local antique jewellers - you get alot more bang for your buck and the craftsmanship on alot of victorian jewellery is much better. Plus, bear in mind that if you buy a new piece, the minute you take it out of the shop it has lost about 40% of its value.

here is an example of an antique jewellery website -some of it is not my taste, some of it is expensive, but it will giveyou an idea of what i mean.
