I just had to share with you that I bought a new foundation at the weekend AND I LOVE IT!!! :O

It's Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - I've been wearing it all weekend cos it just makes my skin look so lovely and matte and made up....

You must be young and dewy. Matt looks terrible on anyone over 35.

Does it?

WHat should I be wearing them?

AuntieMaggie - agree with you. I bought this over a year ago when I got a freebie in a magazine. Although, due to it's 'mattness' it does sometimes make my skin a little dry.

we were talking about the whole matt and dewy thing while the girl on the counter was helping me try it out - it seems younger women seem to try to stop being shiny but older women like to look dewy.

I'm not far off 35.

Am still wearing it - have worn it every day which I don't normally do but it doesn't even feel like I have anything on. My skin feels great condition.

And it has survived my 12 hour day including train journeys to and from london and a meeting in a very warm meeting room!

Hmm I'm tempted to try it as I do get a bit too shiny, but too matt otoh makes me look a bit old-lady (especially if I add lippy). (am almost 40)

I like clarins souffle de teint for dewy.
